“Last year was our twins first time at STAR Camp. I’m always a little nervous with Sami starting new things since I’m not sure how she’ll react or respond to new people or if they will be able to understand her wants and needs clearly. Luckily we didn’t have any issues and Sam loved it. I loved that everyday I got to see pictures of what they were doing. It was so reassuring to see their smiling faces and all the different activities they were doing. Social skills are tougher for Sam so to see different pictures of playing with other kids was great for me. Sami has already been asking me when camp started again wanting to go back. It definitely made a great, lasting impression on her. The fact that her brother also gets to attend with her is awesome too! I love that siblings are included!
